About Serra Rose

Serra’s ambition of becoming an author started from a young age, when her first attempt at creative writing resulted in a poem, ‘The Mighty Oak Tree,’ being published in her primary school newsletter. An avid reader with a vivid imagination, Serra was encouraged and inspired by her Mum to continue to write. She proceeded to write poetry and short stories until novel writing and screenplays became her passion. In 2021, Serra took a screenplay she’d been working on and adapted it into her debut novel, ‘The Shadow Within,’ which was published in November 2023.

Serra Rose is a Melbourne-based author from New Zealand. Her interests in genres, both as a reader and an author, range from dark fantasy, with historical elements,  to dark paranormal romance.

Death's Shadow picks up after the events of The Shadow Within and will be released 30th November 2024.

Consumed and Bloodking are part of a series with Bloodsong, due to be released in 2025.
 

The Whispers of War, and The Echoes of War, Books 3 and 4 of the Horseman Chronicles, are currently in their first draft and are due to be published in 2025
